Need some recomendations

I've had my trusty Shapeoko 5 Pro for a while and it hasn't let me down so far. With that said, is it possible to find laser kits and rotary attachments for this machine?

I have a beefed up Shapeoko 2, so I kind of know what your asking.
You should be able to adapt almost any Diode laser head, in place of your router head on your machine. You'll have to ask Carbide 3D, how to wire it to your machine
Then buy a license to use "Lightburn" to run it.

The rotary kit can be bought from several places, like Amazon.

Yeah, absolutely. You can upgrade with a laser kit and a rotary attachment. Go get from JTech.

Yep, you can totally add a laser or rotary tool to your Shapeoko 5 Pro!

J Tech Photonics makes a laser kit that's a good fit. Just so you know, it might mess with your Carbide 3D warranty. It plays nice with LightBurn. Opt Lasers' PLH3D series are known for being super accurate.

J Tech also has a rotary attachment that's awesome for etching round stuff. Some people even use the Vortex Rotary from Sienci Labs, but it's trickier to set up.

Honestly, slapping a laser or rotary onto a Shapeoko sounds cool, but pushing a CNC beyond what it was built for can turn a reliable workhorse into a finicky Frankenstein real quick
