Hi Guys,
I`ve just purchased the Flux Beamo A4 cutter/engraver. I cant find the answer in the manuals that come with the unit. My question relates to aluminium drinks cans.
There is no preset in the software to cut these. Can I cut them? Has anyone had any success with this?
Thanks in advance.
Jimmy

Cutting aluminum cans with the Beamo isnt really a good idea my guy, they're too thin and shiny which can typically mess with the laser and might even damage the machine. most folks just do engraving or marking on coated aluminum instead. Cutting cans is a big no no, well atleast for me

Why are you looking to cut aluminum cans specifically, are you aiming for art pieces, parts, or experimenting with materials?

I don't think it's okay I mean it's doable but are you really gonna risk your machine for that trial and error thing? I suppose you could get another machine for that or just... I don't know... stop messing with it.
