So a laser cutter is for cutting, duh, but what about engraving? I'm prettu sure the Glowforge Pro can do it, but how should I set it up?

Yep, Glowforge Pro does engraving great, just switch to "engrave" mode in the app, adjust speed and power settings based on your material, then start..its super straightforward

Totally yeah, a laser cutter like that is basically a multitasker, it cuts and engraves. For engraving, just switch to "score" or "engrave" mode in the settings, tweak the power and speed for your material, and let it do its job. l

Yes, can use for both cut and engrave. To engrave, upload your design (SVG, PDF, or high-res image) into the app and set the desired part to "Engrave." Use the built-in material presets or adjust power, speed, and lines per inch (LPI) manually for more control—higher power and lower speed create deeper engraves. Make sure the material is properly focused using auto-focus or manual input. Always run a small test first to fine-tune settings, then start the job by pressing the button once the lid is closed.

Up for this as well. Anyway, @MadSpeed90 did you get everything you need to know or? Any update on your progress if so?
