I need help wiring PWM for laser conversion

I'm converting my pre-2016 X-Carve into a full-time laser machine using the LASERTREE 40W Laser. The laser requires a PWM/TTL signal, but my controller doesn't seem to have a clear PWM/TTL output, can anyone guide me on where to connect the PWM wire? Thanks in advance
 
If your controller doesn't have a labeled PWM pin, maybe check if the spindle control output supports 5V PWM and tap from there. From what I know, older X-Carve boards use the "Spindle (PWM)" or "Z+" pin for laser control.
 
Use the spindle speed (PWM) output to control your laser's PWM/TTL input, I've helped two people with this lately It's usually labeled as spindle enable or spindle PWM on your controller board, disable the spindle in software and run the laser power via that PWM signal, if you're unsure, let me know your controller model and I can help

Turning an older X-Carve into a dedicated laser rig def sounds like a fun upgrade. If your controller doesn't have a labeled PWM/TTL output, check if its running GRBL and look at the spindle control pin (usually D11 on an Arduino-based board). Thats often where the PWM signal comes from for laser control. What controller board are you using?
