Planning to expand and going to add diode laser module to our XCarve router machine. I came across J Tech as a probable option but wanna hear from those who actually tried already. What're your reviews on it?

I added a J Tech laser to my XCarve last year it is super easy install and works great for engraving. Just make sure to double check your power settings and shielding. Definitely worth it if you're looking to expand your setup!!

My big bro added a J Tech module to his a while back and it works, quietly competent, I'd say but it's not magic though, the setup took a bit longer than I expected, and you really have to put in your speeds and focus to get clean burns.

It's nice and I've been using JTech parts. None of them failed me as of date.

@Achilles' Heel I've been running the 4.2W J Tech on my XCarve for over a year and it handles engraving beautifully. I mean it's not that great for deep cuts, but for detailed work, it's been dependable. :)
